night rituals

inspire zen to promote a restful sleep. here are things you can do to wind down after a long day.

about an hour before bed …

play chill music

  • jazz or brazilian

  • lofi chill beats / lounge

  • hotel costes livestreamed playlist

dim lights and turn on pink himalayan salt lamp.

have a cup of lavender chamomile tea.

read a few chapters in a book or catch up on vogue or allure.

put away ten things (I like waking up to an organized room).

light candle while doing skincare routine (I might leave my face mask on while reading and unwinding).

epsom salt bath or use as a scrub.

a refreshing shower, promptly followed by body moisturizer.

a few mists of the matcha + rosewater skin mist.

bedtime …

spray bed + pillow with lavender essential oil.

turn on a humidifier and add a couple drops of lavender essential oil to diffuse into the room throughout the night, with added hydration benefits for the skin.

journaling to reflect on the positives of the day, how to make tomorrow even better, and to just get all your ideas on paper and into the universe.

light stretching, and after an especially active day I will lay with my legs up against the wall for lymphatic drainage.

buddhify meditation (but really important not to look at your phone otherwise; it will stimulate your brain into thinking it is daytime).

put hair up in a silk scrunchie.

fresh beauty hand cream + rose lip balm / laniage lip mask.

put on silk sleeping eye mask & dream away.

TCFN!
